Our Services

Citizens Advice Newcastle provide advice to residents who live or work within the area covered by Newcastle City Council. If you would like to find local offices for other parts of the country visit the Citizens Advice National Site.

Our main office is situated at: 4th Floor, City Library, Charles Avison Building, 33 New Bridge Street West, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8AX.

No need to make an appointment, our drop in sessions are:

Monday: 10am – 3pm

Tuesday: 10am- 3pm

Wednesday: 10am – 3pm

Thursday: 10am – 6pm

Friday: 10am – 3pm


Tyneside advice line: 0344 245 1288 (answered between 10am – 4pm)
Consumer advice is available on the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline 03454 040506 (Mon-Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm)

A web chat service from the National Citizens Advice website is accessible through this website. Click on the red ‘Get Advice Online’ button at the top of this page, or click here to use it. (This service is usually available between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday)
