About Volunteering

To help us to continue to deliver the service we are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers. Volunteering with a CAB is a great way to pick up skills, make friends and feel part of an enthusiastic team. And it’s not just worthwhile; volunteering can also be fantastic fun and hugely rewarding.

There are many ways to get involved; you could train to be an Adviser, Gateway or Telephone Assessor, or become a Trustee. You can help us make a real difference to people in your community.

If you want to know more, please email We will be happy to answer any questions, and may be able to arrange an informal visit to the bureau for a chat and to tell you more about volunteering opportunities available.

CAB is committed to equal opportunities for everyone. We actively welcome volunteers of all ages from a wide range of different backgrounds.
